Klarna and Shopify further stren...

Shopify payments integrates seamlessly with merchants' stores and goes live in just a few clicks. Klarna's paynow and paylater are already integrated as default payment methods with no additional cost, complexity or effort. Pay Now, available today, lets customers pay instantly via bank transfer at checkout. Pay Later will be rolling out in the coming weeks, giving customers the flexibility to pay for products without interest or fees, allowing customers to try before buying. Together, Klarna and Shopify provide SME merchants with a competitive advantage, helping them grow through a smoother shopping experience, improve conversion rates, and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This integration further strengthens what Klarna and Shopify are already doing, with Shopify merchants in Germany, Northern Europe, the Netherlands and Austria.

Paul Valentine, one of Germany's leading watch and accessories brands, who later offered Klarnapay as one of its payment methods through Shopify, found that customer satisfaction and revenue increased by offering the popular try-before-you-buy payment service. At the same time, Paul Valentine does not have to take any risk, as Klarna takes care of credit management and fraud risk, allowing merchants to receive payment for their orders quickly and allowing customers to pay when they are satisfied with their purchases.

Paul Franzreb, CEO and co-founder of paul Valentine, said: "Since we started using the Klarna payment method, our revenue has grown by 20%. We now offer a wider range of payment methods and offer our customers the opportunity to pay after delivery is a major reason for this growth. For large businesses like ours, we've also seen Shopify and Klarna add credibility and trust to our store and people are more willing to buy from us.

Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO and Co-Founder of Klarna, said: "We are impressed by Klarna's growing partnership with Shopify, which strives to innovate and keep its business platform as simple and friendly as possible. Our shared vision is to help businesses, especially SMEs, grow by removing unnecessary friction associated with the checkout process and provide a great customer experience. It will also help businesses meet growing customer demand for smooth experiences, allowing them to compete more effectively in key markets and ultimately Klarna payment gateway. The customer journey will bring customer satisfaction and loyalty to Shopify-powered SME businesses, as well as increasing conversion rates and average order value.
